S’mores are a popular campfire snack in the United States and Canada. This Skillet S’mores Dip is the easiest dessert you’ll ever make!
Before going into a hot oven to get toasted, a warm cast iron pan is coated and covered with chocolate chips and small marshmallows. Serve with graham crackers and chilled milk glasses.
Mini Skillet S’mores
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
Heat a 10-inch skillet on low heat on your stovetop. When the skillet is warm, add the butter and, after melted, use a pastry brush to coat the sides and bottom.
Remove from the fire, stir in the chocolate chips, and top with a thin coating of marshmallows.
Bake for 5 to 6 minutes on the middle rack of your preheated oven, or until the marshmallow tops are golden brown.
Serve warm with graham crackers after carefully transferring the skillet to a trivet (the pan will be hot!).
